Reviews and Ratings
My experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. While I found the location convenient for my business activities outside Salvador downtown, the room I initially received had issues with the air conditioning and lighting which required me to change rooms. The facilities and cleanliness were adequate, but the service from the reception staff left something to be desired. On the positive side, the nearby restaurant options were great, and the pool provided a nice way to cool off after a long day.
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it a suitable choice for business travelers. The rooms are spacious and new, but the service can be slow. While there are a couple of restaurants nearby, it's not in a touristy area, and I found the breakfast options lacking. Overall, I'd consider staying again for business purposes, given the price and modern accommodations.
I chose the Catussaba Hotel mainly for its proximity to the airport since I was on a business trip. While the location is convenient, the hotel doesn't cater well to business travelers. The rooms were small and not particularly soundproof, which made for a noisy stay. Although the staff tried, the service was pretty average, and the internet wasn't working during my visit. Overall, I would say it's an option if you're looking for a cheap place to crash, but don't expect a business-friendly environment.
I found the hotel to be quite average, barely hitting the three-star mark, especially by European standards. While the location is close to the airport, making it convenient for stopovers, the cleanliness left much to be desired and the breakfast options were basic. The facilities, including the pool, couldn't fully make up for the issues with the rooms and service, but it might work for a short stay if you’re not too picky.
The hotel was a mixed bag for me. I found the rooms to be clean, but they were quite small and noisy, and the air conditioning wasn't great. The location was decent for business, being close to the airport, but not ideal for tourists as it felt crowded with beach resort guests. I appreciated having a swimming pool to cool off, but I wish the service was more attentive and the dining experience could definitely use some improvement.
